Joshua 1:9- “BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS. DO NOT BE AFRAID; DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED, FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD WILL BE WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO.”
Behind the scenes of every great accomplishment and victory in history, there is a woman. March is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women in history. As women, it is important to maintain strong mental health because we are often the backbone of our families, careers, and our community’s accomplishments.
Women with strong mental health qualities, carry characteristics of being confident, productive, optimistic, go-getter, fear tackler, caring, not afraid to stand up for beliefs, proud, not phased by what others say, and are true to self.
Confidence helps us to not compare ourselves to others. A confident woman knows and accepts who she is.
Mentally strong women are always looking for the next task to tackle. Accomplishments contribute to strong mental health. It is also important to listen to your body and know when to rest.
Being open minded and positive impacts our mood. Having an optimistic outlook allows your mindset to grow.
Working towards our dreams and goals, means allowing our creativity to flow, turning our thoughts into reality.
Being patient during trials and tribulations is an attribute of being strong mentally and relying on God and recognizing that He is in control.
Kindness and caring for others, helps us to feel good about ourselves, while bringing out the best in us.
Mentally strong women stand up and speak up! Advocating for morals and values that you believe in takes courage and confidence.
Being proud of yourself and your accomplishments deserves to be displayed.
Mentally strong women overcome negativity and are not defined by other people’s thoughts or opinions.
Being comfortable in your own skin is a sign of strength and oneness with self. Mentally strong women are true to who they are. Flaws and all.
Mental strength has nothing to do with popularity or money and all to do with self-care. It is not always easy to be mentally strong. We must learn what works and what does not work for our mental peace and help another sister along the way.
